E! Entertainment picked 25-year-old Cartagena-born cutie Karen Bray as their new “Chica E!” Colombia 2011, reported their website.

After two months of interviews and challenges to gain voter support, Bray won against her competitors Laura Tobon and Maria Clara Rodriguez to become E!’s new big presenter of Latin American showbiz.

This year Colombia broke records for voter participation, bringing in more than 40,000 people to vote online for their favorite Chica E!

At the contest’s grand finale, Bray was bombarded with benefits which included a new GM Colombia car, Sedal hair products, a new camera and class on photography courtesy of Chocolyne, an Apple ipad, and a basket of goodies from Maybelline makeup, cha-ching!

“I know that when they see me on E! they are going to love my style, [because] I have shown who I am since the beginning, I won professionally, and I gave it my best,” commented E’s new star.

You can watch the madness of the contest for yourself on Monday, September 5 at 10PM on the E! Entertainment Television channel.

The second episode of “Chica E!” Colombia will be filmed in the Zona G restaurant Ragazzi in Bogota, and will include musical guests and celebrities.
