DJ Luciano brings minimal techno to Colombia

Swiss-Chilean DJ Luciano brings a mystical blend of minimal techo and deep tribal house sounds to Colombia,

Luciano, whose bi-continental roots are apparent in his unique mixing of bare-bones techno with hot-blooded Latin rhythms, will be heating up dance floors in Bogota and Medellin as part of his two week South American tour.

The Swiss-born DJ was raised in Santiago, Chile, where he developed his skills and initially rose to fame before stepping into the international electronic scene, thanks in part to his South American connections such as Ricardo Villalobos and Pier Bucci, says his biography on Cadanza Records’ website.

Luciano now enjoys his status on the forefront of the global electronic scene, with several word-wide tours and residencies in Ibiza, Spain, and Switzerland under his belt, and now his own label, Cadanza Records, which boasts a long list of innovative artists.

He will perform at the Royal Center in Bogota on Friday, February 11, and fans in Medellin will be able to enjoy Luciano mixing at the Forum event center in Medellin on Saturday, February 12.
