Colombia men’s magazine Don Juan announced Thursday that Dutch FARC guerrilla Tanja Nijmeijer will be posing nude in the special Christmas edition of the monthly.
In a press release, the magazine said that the special “Make love not war to Tanja” edition will be in stores on December 9.
Don Juan said it would send a bulk of magazines to the guerrilla’s native Denmark where local media have shown obsessive interest in their compatriot’s rebel life.
“Those guys lap her up,” Fernando Gomez, editor of Don Juan, said. “They couldn’t care less whether there is war or peace in Colombia, but when Nijmeijer farts, she makes all the headlines. Imagine the impact of her ‘Dutch mountains’ in Denmark.”
Kopenhagen’s ambassador to Bogota refused to comment on the publication, insisting that “this woman is not from Denmark.”
