Six Danes were convicted to sentences ranging from two to six months
before their country’s Court of Appeal for supporting the FARC and the
Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF), both considered terrorist
organizations by European law.
The Danes had appealed an earlier conviction, claiming neither the FARC not the PLF were terrorist organizations and denied their support was against the law.
The court disagreed and sentenced two of the defendents to six months in jail and the remaining four to two months.
Additionally, the court ruled that the seizure of the Danes’ company fighters+lovers, their website and 4,500 dollar found during investigations was legal.
The six were selling “funky” clothing to financially support both groups, considered terrorists by both the European Union and the United States.
