Rumors have suggested that the Cordoba department is unable to select a beauty queen to replace last years candidate for the annual Miss Colombia pageant.
According to gossip news site Sweet, there may be no new candidate for Cordoba in this year’s pageant. The departmental jury have reportedly seen 21 contestants but is deadlocked and has declined to award any of them the honor of serving as Miss Cordoba.
Meanwhile, last year’s Miss Cordoba, Marcia Jones, is said to have been selected by musician Peter Manjarrez to star in his music video and was filming in Bogota last week.
