Colombia’s average crude oil production has increased by 6% to 950,000 barrels per day between February and March.
The figure means that the country has still not matched the peak production of 953,000 barrels per day, reached in August 2011, but has continued to creep closer to the government’s target of one million barrels per day.
The average daily production for the 2012 has now reached 918,000 barrels per day, representing a 7% increase year-on-year, after an average of 887,000 barrels per day was reported at the end of March 2011.
