Colombia’s dry season will be extra hot: meteorologists

Colombia’s dry season that recently started will last until the
beginning of September and bring higher temperatures than normal, the
national meteorological institute said Thursday.

In an interview with Caracol Radio, director of meteorological institute IDEAM, Ricardo Lozano,  said that the expected higher temperatures are a result of the excessive rainfall during the rainy season that characterized the first four months of the year.

Because of the transistion of the weather, strong winds can be expected the coming while, especially in the eastern Lllanos and the most eastern riff of the Andes
