Colombian rock singer Juanes began his concert tour of Spain with a concert in Vigo, Spain this Saturday.
Juanes launched his first major concert tour this year since 2008, beginning the year with a concert in Mexico and a tour of the United States. The singer will now play in venues across Spain until July 30th.
Born in the Colombian district of Antioquia, Juanes has won 17 Latin Grammy’s more than any other artist, as well as one Grammy. Juanes has sold more than 13 million albums.
Juanes has engaged in humanitarian work, helping Colombian victims of land mines and holding a peace concert during the 2008 break between Colombia and Ecuador as well as a concert to improve U.S.-Cuba relations.
