Colombia TV hottie Jessica Cediel is going to make the leap to acting, taking on a role in a new drama based around the country’s reggaeton scene.
Cediel will star alongside Colombian rapper Jutha in the show, titled ‘’Cumbia Ninja’’, revolving around musicians’ life on Colombia’s Caribbean coast.
The up-and-coming actress found initial fame presenting morning TV show “Muy Buenos Dias” (Very Good Morning) on television channel RCN as well as a brief appearance on “The Mark of Desire,” another soap opera.
In March 2011, however, she had to put her career on hold due to a botched operation on her bottom performed by a plastic surgeon who the socialite later sued for just over $220 thousand.
