Colombian police arrest 14 linked to ‘El Loco Barrera’

Colombian police arrested 14 men suspected of being part of the drug trafficking organization of “El Loco” Barrera, local media reported on Monday.

Daniel Barrera Barrera is believed to be leading one of Colombia’s three largest drug trafficking organization. The arrest of 14 of his henchmen represents a “severe blow” to the organization, police said.

Most of the suspects are wanted for extradition to the United States to face drug-related charges.
