Colombian peso drops 1.3%

The Colombian peso dropped 1.3% against the dollar Thursday, as Dubai’s request to delay debt repayments sparked mistrust of emerging markets.

The peso reached a low of 2,002.5 to the dollar at 11:54 AM EST, its lowest point since October 28. The U.S. markets are closed for Thanksgiving, leading to low liquidity in the market. (Dow Jones)
