Colombian stunner Silvia Llanes has beaten 44 contenders to be named Best Model of the World 2011.
The 19-year-old beauty took the title at an international competition held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Llanes was recently praised for her beauty and catwalk manner by fellow Colombian models Natalia Paris and Maritza Rodriguez, and fashion guru Sergio Barbosa, at the Summer Festival of Puerto Gaitain, Meta department. It was thanks to her performance in this event that she travelled to Turkey to take part in the Best Model competition.
A statement on the contest’s website said, “Models carrying the title Best Model of the World are successfully integrated in the global fashion stage. They are among the most wanted and preferred models in advertising and film industries.”
