The Museum of Anthropology from Colombia’s Atlantic University is showing 120 artworks from across Colombia.
The pieces will be shown in four exhibitions and there will be eight artistic projects “to appreciate the way artists express themselves esthetically in all the corners of the country,” states newspaper El Heraldo.
One of the paintings that can be viewed is an imitation of Fernando Botero’s painting of Ingrid Betancourt by Camilo Restrepo, who asked artists in Medellin to make this imitation.
In it’s ’70 years of existence by part of the Ministry of Culture, the exhibition now reached Barranquilla and will later be in display in Santa Marta (on 15 December) and Cartagena (16 February).
There will also be activities for the public to mix and give its opinion over art.
