Colombian Army discovers weapons cache

The Colombian Army discovered a weapons cache in northern Colombia, according to a press release Thursday.

According to the report, Juan del Corral Mechanized Cavalry found 453 anti-personnel mines, one IM26 grenade, five homemade grenades, 40kgs of explosives, and an assortment of bomb-making equipment.

According to the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, Colombia has the second highest casualty rate of landmine victims in the world.
