Foreign Minister Maria Angela Holguin will represent Colombia at the funeral of former Venezuelan President Carlos Andres Perez, who died in Miami Saturday.
President Juan Manuel Santos on Monday reiterated his grief about the death of Perez, who, according to Santos, “always had a very special relation with Colombia.”
The president said his foreign minister will travel to Miami where Perez will be buried on Wednesday.
