Milan confirmed the loan of Pablo Armero from Udinese on Monday , according to an statement released by the Italian soccer club.
With a big grin on his face and a A.C. Milan scarf around his neck, Armero was introduced to Milan fans in front of the press, the official A.C. Milan website reported Tuesday. He joins fellow Colombian Cristian Zapata, who already plays for the Italian squad.
“I’m joining a great team, I want to find my spot here and do well. We’ll work hard to do well for the fans who deserve it. I’ve spoken to coach Inzaghi, he was a soccer player who loved to win, and he wants to do so as a coach,” Armero told the Milan’s press team.
The midfielder is keen on improving his performance from the forgettable 2013/14 season, were he underperformed on loan for West Ham United and only played five matches.
“First I’ll think about winning the match, then I’ll think about the celebration dance. I’m only thinking about working to do well and earning a place here, then the coach will say who plays,” said Armero.

He is not the first Colombian to pull the Milan jersey over his head. Among others, Mario Yepes and Cristian Zapata have played for the historic team. After arriving in Milan, Armero revealed that he had spoken with the two Colombians.
“I talked to some friends like Mario and Cristian, and they spoke well of Milan.”
