Colombian striker Radamel Falcao told Sky Sports he is happy at current club Atletico Madrid, and hasn’t considered moving elsewhere.
“The truth is, I haven’t thought about a move too much” said Falcao, who’s future has been the subject of intense speculation, with European media linking the Colombian with a host of Europe’s richest clubs since the end of the season.
Falcao however has remained tight lipped on his future, playing down his say in where he will be playing his football next season, preferring instead to remain focused on his job at his current club.

“The reality is I have three years left on my Atletico contract…I’ve been trying not to think too much about the rumors of clubs being linked with me” said the striker known as “El Tigre.”
However, the world class front man did leave open the possibility of a move, if the Spanish club decide the time has come to cash in on their prize asset: “Of course, it depends on what the financial needs of my club are and what sort of efforts Atletico make to keep me” referring to the $82 million buy-out clause in his contract, that, if triggered by a large enough transfer bid, automatically allows the potential suitor to discuss personal terms with the player.
Earlier this week it was widely reported that English powerhouse Manchester City had agreed such a deal to make Falcao their first signing of the summer, but these reports were denied by the Manchester club’s chief executive, Ferran Soriano, who ruled out a move in a statement on Wednesday.
