Colombia denies crossing Venezuelan border

Venezuela said Saturday a 60-man Colombian military unit was “intercepted” just beyond the border inside Venezuelan territory on Friday and that it had sent an official complaint to the Colombian government.Colombian President Álvaro Uribe immediately responded saying he would apology if indeed Colombian troops had crossed the border, something now denied by Santos.Internal investigation proved there was no incursion, says the Defense Minister. “In fact, what they say happened is virtually impossible,” he added. The Venezuelan Government repeated its accusation, after the Colombian response, saying it “due time” will publish photos and other material proving the raid. “It seems Santos isn’t well informed or doesn’t inform well,” Venezuelan Information Minister said on state television.
