Colombia confirms 17th case of AH1N1

 

Colombia’s Health Ministry confirmed one new case of AH1N1 on
Thursday, raising the total number of patients carrying the virus in
the country to 17.

The new case is a woman from Bogota who traveled to Cancun and consulted a doctor on her return because she had fever, headache and a cough.

The patients receives medical treatment at home and is doing well, authorities say.

This is the third confirmed case of the influenza in Colombia’s capital city.
