Colombia committed to fight climate change

President Álvaro Uribe participated in the UN Climate Summit and noted a great commitment to the production of clean energy.

President Uribe also called the global environmental crisis “an emergency”, reported Caracol Radio.

United States President Barack Obama ratified Colombia’s committment to work with the nations in the world most affected by carbon dioxide emissions and pollution.

President Uribe is in New York this week to participate in the United Nations’ General Assembly.
