Colombians continue to be happy people. Their country occupies the sixth place in this year’s Happy Planet Index.
The index measured the happiness of people in 146 countries. The happiest country is Costa Rica, followed by the Dominican Republic and and Jamaica.
Latin America as a whole is quite a happy continent. Nine of the ten world’s happiest countries are Latin or Caribbean.
The United States occupy the index’ 114th place.
