Colombian band ChocQuibTown on Wednesday traveled to Los Angeles where they hope to receive a Grammy award at the ceremony on Sunday.
The band from the western city of Quibdo were nominated in the Best Latin Rock, Alternative or Urban Album category in December and told television network Caracol they are excited to be part of one of the most important musical events of the year. They said they are looking forward to seeing artists like Mick Jagger, Eminem and Lady GaGa, who will also be at the event.
The group will perform the song “De Donde Vengo Yo” from their nominated album “Oro.”
