Cartagena will be promoted as a tourist destinations in the United States on the ‘Road Show’ in Miami and Washingtion.
This new promotional tour will promote Cartagena – the sights of the ancient city, its monuments and beaches – and other tourist regions of the country in order to attract new North American tourists.
“This is very important for us since the United States are the largest tourism market for Colombia and especially for Cartagena. We hope to make good contacts and to position the city on an international level”, Mordecai Fernandez, Director of Marketing and Tourism Promotion of the Cartagena de Indias Corporation, told newspaper El Universal.
The tour begins this Tuesday and will end on Thursday.
