The candidates for Miss Colombia begin their fight for the crown.
The participants vying for the next reign of Colombia’s 2012 National Beauty Pageant will officially begin their competition this week in Neiva, the capital of Colombia’s south-central Huila department.
The current Miss Colombia, Daniella Alvarez Vasquez, accompanied the new participants as they prepared for the first event “Minicromos,” in which the candidates will be photographed in the region.
Until September 15, the eight candidates will tour Huila in hopes of being crowned the next Miss Colombia.
