The Cali Theater Festival will transform the city into Colombia’s theater capital in April with two weeks of performances by local and international theater groups.
The guest of honor will be the Odin Theater Company, which is set to visit Colombia from Denmark for the fist time in 13 years. World renowned for its contemporary experimental theater, the Odin Theater Company will be presenting three productions as well as smaller performances and monologues.
They will join the 16 theater troops from Cali who will also be performing over the course of the 13-day-long festival. Many of Cali’s theater groups have achieved international recognition in recent years.
The festival will include a range of other performances, such as poetry readings and musical presentations for children and adults alike to enjoy.
The festival will run from Wednesday April 12 through Sunday April 24.
