Rescue workers continue the search for two miners trapped in a coal mine in north-eastern Colombia, despite fading hope the men are still alive.
According to Caracol Radio, four rescue workers are trying to enter the shaft where the two miners are thought to have trapped since Tuesday when a landslide caused the shaft to collapse.
Because the two miners are without food and air, the possibility of finding them alive is lower by the hour.
The coordinator of the successful rescue of 33 trapped miners in Chile offered Colombian authorities help. “If they ask us to help, we are willing to,” Andre Sougarret said.
