Bogota kicks off this year’s Christmas holiday season on Friday with a concert featuring the country’s most famous vallenato singers.
The free concert will be held at the central Plaza de Bolivar at 6PM and feature Jorge Celedon and Jorge Oñate and will close with a fireworks show.
The event is to celebrate the swithcing on of the city’s Christmas lights, which will be illuminating a large number of the city’s streets and parks until the beginning of January.
