Five people were injured Monday evening when a bomb exploded in the north of Bogotá. Authorities blame the FARC’s 51st front for the attack.
The bomb exploded on the corner of Calle 169 and Autopista Norte and allegedly was a retaliation for not paying extortion money.
Medics were able to treat two of the wounded on the spot. Three others were taken to a nearby hospital.
Authorities are offering a 50 million peso (US$24 thousand) reward for tips that lead to the apprehension of those guilty of the attack.
