$100,000 reward in hunt for FARC hostage

Authorities from the east Colombian department of Arauca on Thursday offered a $100,000 reward for information on the whereabouts of FARC kidnap victim and government official Tony Efren Murillo Bravo.

Murillo, secretary to the governor of Arauca, was kidnapped by guerrilla “Nilson Diaz” of the FARC’s 10th Front on February 19.

Authorities said the reward would be paid the army, the Arauca police or security agency DAS.
