Colombian military Sunday destroyed various explosives and five cocaine
laboratories of Colombia’s biggest rebel groups the FARC and the ELN in
Nariño, Cauca and Antioquia.
According to a military report, soldiers discovered a total of eight anti-personnel minefields in San Jose del Guaviare and Sabana de Torres belonging to the FARC.
The army also destroyed an improvised explosive in Samaniego, which was installed by the ELN.
Furthermore, the brigade 14 found and destroyed five drug laboratories of the FARC in the Antioquia department, El Tiempo reported. The laboratory had the capacity to produce one ton of cocaine each months.
