Argentine musician Fito Paez plans to come to Colombia to croon his music in Bogota on December 7 and 8 and in Medellin on December 10.
Three-time Latin Grammy Award winner Paez is known for his epic 1990’s rock and roll that features piano and his lyrics that are lulled in Castellaño Spanish.
Tickets for his performances are already close to selling out, prompting the artists’ second show in Bogota.
In the Colombian capital, Paez will be playing Downtown Majestic, and in Medellin at the covered Polideportivo coliseum of the Universidad Pontificia Boliviariana.
The three concerts are part of his “La Nave Espacial” (The Spaceship) tour, which has already visited Spain, the United States, and other Latin American countries.
The tour features Paez’ new album “Canciones para Aliens” (Songs for Aliens) which is a composition album with international musicians.
Of the album the Argentine musician said he chose a few “of the world’s most beautiful songs” that were recorded in his “sentimental memory,” that he decided to give his own “touch.”
“It will be the first in a series of albums that we will continue to make in the future with other songs with other artists and writers,” Paez explained.
