Fourteen passengers on a bus that fell 150 meters off a cliff in
Antioquia Thursday miraculously survived and were even able to get out
the bus without major injuries.
The bus of the company Econorte was on his way to Medellin from Caucasia when, for reasons still not known, the bus crashed 150 meters down a cliff. Miraculously none of the passengers were killed or suffering major injuries.
The minor injuries were taken care of in hospitals in Giradota and Bello, towns close to the place of the accident. Four to five patients were transferred to Medellin for their seriousness of their conditions, Gilberto Mazo of the Department for Care and Disaster Prevention told newspaper El Espectador.
The Police does still not know the reasons but guesses that either the bus driver drove too fast or fell asleep.
