Abortion medication to be available in Colombia

A substance that induces abortion known as  will be included in Colombia’s health plan, stipulated by The Regulatory Commission on Health (CRES).

The Health Ministry published the decision to permit Misoprostol on Thursday, however CRES has specified that the drug would only be available by prescription and only when abortion “is approved by law,” El Tiempo reported.
