Colombia’s top soccer player, Radamel Falcao, announced Monday his wife has given birth to a baby girl, Dominique.
The birth came only one day after Falcao’s first goal in France where he had joined AS Monaco.

“The sweet wait has ended. I will miss the belly [of his wife Lorelei Taron], but our best heritage has arrived,” the soccer player posted on his Instagram account.
The birth of the baby forced Falcao to delay his trip to Serbia where he is expected to play a friendly match with Colombia’s national team on Wednesday.
In spite of the birth of his baby, “El Tigre” is expected to be playing.
