According to army figures, 1,195 people demobilized, 2,830 were captured and another 1,040 were killed in combat.The army also revealed it was able to release 68 hostages in 2008 so far.During army operations and because of demobilizations, the Colombian army seized 4,019 firearms, 12,955 handgrenades, 997,766 mortars and 10,171 chargers.
