The National Government had called on all 1100 municipalities to take part and organize a Concert for Peace. The departments Arauca, Guaviare, Caldas, Quindío and Risalda announced the participation of all their municipalities.”We are very close to achieving the goal in convening all municipalities to join this great celebration of music,” Colombia’s Culture Minister, Paula Marcela Moreno Zapata says.The government took the initiative to have the concerts organized to highlight the country’s diversity in music and cultures.Artists like Carlos Vives and Aterciopelados already agreed to participate.
