British rock band Placebo are making a return to Colombia’s capital to play a show in April, announced the director of Shows Business and Entertainment, Juan Pablo Ospina.
Although the concert has not been announced officially on the band’s website and no location for the gig has been confirmed, website Evolution Rock claims that the popular alt-rock band will be making their second appearance in Bogota on April 22.
Placebo’s last Colombian gig, in 2007, was a big hit, attracting over 5,000 people to watch band members Brian Molko, Stefan Olsdal and Steve Forrest rock out in the city’s Palacio de los Deportes.
The band are currently carrying out a world tour to promote their latest album “Battle of the Sun.”
