The club from Cali ended up on the ninth spot of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics’ regional ranking. The continent’s most successful team was that of Peñarol Montevideo from Uruguay.
The soccer federation summed up the clubs’ international results in the past century to come up with the ranking.
