Colombian artrockers Velandia y La Tigra are set to present their new cd Superzencillo in Bogota.
The band, fronted by singer / guitarist Edson Velandia, surprised Colombian music critics with their 2007 debut Once Rasqas and are now ready to do the same with their second work.
The guitar-and-lyrics orientated music leans heavily on weird, but Colombian sounding rhythms and is generally accompanied by somewhat strange videos.
The band performs in El Anonimo (Av. Suba cl. 106 C.C. Puente Largo) coming Friday.
