A drug trafficker with elleged links to Mexican drug cartels was arrested in Cali Monday.
The captured man, Aldemar Álvarez Tabares alias ‘Pelon’, is a suspected member of the Norte del Valle cartel, run by Hernando
Gomez Bustamante alias ‘Rasguño’.
The U.S. sought ‘Pelon’s’ extradition on charges of sending cocaine to the north American country via cartels in Mexico.
