Members of indigenous communities looking for the remains
of victims of a FARC massacre earlier this year, say they found seven bodies so far.
A spokesman of the approximately 600 indigenous people who take part in the “humanitarian minga” say that they sound another four corpses Sunday. Earlier this week another three were found and the army had already exhumed another.
The FARC admitted to have killed eight members of teh Awá comunity, because the rebels suspected them of being army informants.
The indigenous accuse the rebels of having some twenty more members of their community and want to continue their search, but are running out of supplies. They have asked humanitarian organizations and the government to send food and medicin.
