Sofia Vergara goes blonde

Colombian actress Sofia Vergara has dyes her trademark brunette looks and goes perfectly blonde, new photos reveal.

The Barranquilla-born star has turned her hair into a mix of platinum and honey blonde to prepare for the summer season.

Blond ambitions!! Gracias to the amazing Kelly Klain Im ready for summer!? instagram.com/p/XVDByXLpZH/

Apparently this is not Vergara’s first time sporting the Nordic color.

“I’m a natural blonde. But when I started acting, I would go to auditions and they didn’t know where to put me because I was voluptuous and had the accent—but I had blonde hair. It was ignorance: They thought every Latin person looks like Salma Hayek. The moment I dyed my hair dark, it was, ‘Oh, she’s the hot Latin girl.’ I loved it. I’d always felt a little ‘too much’ as a blonde, like a big-mouth version of Pamela Anderson. Being brunette toned me down a bit,” Vergara said earlier this year.

According to magazine Hollywood Reporter, Vergara could currently be in talks to star in a remake of Burt Reynolds’ 1986 film “Heat.”
