Fonseca to tour US in April

Colombian singer Fonseca will tour the United States starting in April.

The Bogota-born Fonseca will bring his “Ilusion World” tour to the U.S. starting April 11 in Dallas, Texas. His journey around 10 U.S. cities will end on April 28 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The internationally known singer songwriter will be promoting his album “Ilusion” released in 2011. The album won a Latin Grammy for “Best Tropical/Fusion Album” and was nominated for “Best Latin Pop Album.”

Fonseca will also be promoting Colombia as he makes his trek around the U.S. His tour sponsors include Marca Colombia and the country’s airline giant, Avianca. Messages promoting Colombian tourism will be showed throughout the tour.
