The Colombian army on Thursday rescued three engineers who were captured in southwest Colombia early Thursday morning by armed men claiming to be FARC rebels.
The victims, an environmental engineer and two civil engineers, were working for the oil company Gran Tierra, according to local media. They were abducted in a rural area in the municipality of Piamonte in the southwestern department of Cauca.
