Colombian superstar Shakira and her beau Gerard Pique have purchased a sprawling Spanish mansion in anticipation of their new baby, reported international press Wednesday.
The mansion, dubbed “The Bunker” by international press, is situated on nearly 11,000 square feet of prime land on the outskirts of Barcelona.
Given the incessant public interest in the lovers’ private lives, the new home will be decked out with a state of the art security apparatus and a large wall, preventing a view of the gardens.
The property is expected to be ready by next March, with young Spanish architect Mireia Admetller in charge of decor.
The singer and her soccer player boyfriend confirmed pregnancy rumors via a Facebook message on September 19.
