Colombian expats will get their chance to celebrate Colombia’s Independence Day in London at the annual Colombiage Festival on Friday.
The festival is dedicated to celebrating and promoting Colombian culture, and will feature appearances from writers, filmmakers and musicians.
This year, London will move to the tradtional Colombian beats of vallenato and cumbria with a special performance by Ondatropica, a joint project of Colombian musician Mario Galeano and English producer Will Holland.
Other highlights of Colombiage will be performances by Afro-funk outfit, KonKoma and DJ Miles Cleret, who fuses tropical beats with electronic rhythms.
