The Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra will leave for Russia on Friday to participate in the Festival of World Symphony Orchestras.
Conducted by maestro Enrique Arturo Diemecke, the Bogota Philharmonic will play two concerts in the Russian capital of Moscow.
The concerts will take place on June 5 and June 6 in the Hall of Columns of the House of Unions, a 200-year old meeting room of the old Russian nobility.
The repertoire of the Colombian Orchestra will include Latin American compositions as well as a composition by renowned Autrian composer Gustav Mahler.
The annual festival, which celebrates its 7th edition this year, begins on June 2 and runs until June 12.
