A Colombian man has cut off his girlfriend’s hand because she refused to accompany him to a bar for a couple of beers, reported Noticias Caracol.
According to relatives of the victims, she was attacked with a machete at a rural house in Lebrija in the northeast department of Santander.
The woman was then taken by her son to hospital in the departmental capital, Bucaramanga, where she is still recovering.
The son, Luis Meza, said his mother is stable and called on the authorities to at least arrest perpetrator and put him in jail.
