The Colombian star has more Twitter followers than Oprah Winfrey and Ashton Kutcher.

With more than 7.4 million followers, Shakira has grown to be most followed Latin artist on Twitter. According to the website Famecount, Shakira occupies the 7th most followed position on the social network, beating out famous celebrities like Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake.

Of the lady pop-singers Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Britney Spears have more followers than Shakira. Lady Gaga is the overall queen of Twitter with 12.4 million followers and Katy Perry rings in fourth (after Justin Bieber and President Barack Obama) with 8.9 fans.

In the Latin world, singer Paulina Rubio has 2 million followers and Julieta Venegas with 1.2 million fans.

Shakira has been moving forward with her fame and position on various social networks, taking over Facebook with 38.4 million fans and shaking all over Youtube with over 1.3 billion views.
