The internationally renowned “merenguero,” Juan Luis Guerra, will perform a concert in Bogota on August 18.
“Asondeguerra,” the name of Guerra’s 11th album and current tour, will stop in London, Belgium, Panama, and Puerto Rico before arriving to Colombia. The tour promises to offer audience members an eclectic variety of sounds ranging from reggae to funk, jazz, Cuban son, and of course, merengue.
The Dominican born Guerra and his band 440 have won 2 Grammy awards, 15 Latin Grammys, and sold more than 30 million records worldwide.
